What if there is an outstanding amount against my previous booking pending?

You will not be able to pick up the vehicle on your next booking unless you have cleared all the outstanding balance from your previous booking. Please ensure you check for pending outstandings before making another booking.


What are the cancellation charges?

Cancellation made > 24 hrs before booking start - No cancellation fee will be charged Cancellation made < 24 hrs before booking start - 50% of booking fee or flat 100,000 VND, whichever is higher. Cancellation made after booking starts - No refund of booking fee.


Can my pickup point and drop point be different?

Only Point to Point pick up and Drop currently. No option of dropping it in different citites.


Is there a km limit to how much I can drive?

The free kilometres allotted to the customer will be proportional to the number of hours booked and the flexi package chosen. The available km packages are 5km/hr, 10km/hr and 15km/hr Free KMs are calculated based on the latest scheduled pick up time to the latest scheduled drop off time or to the actual drop off time whichever is later. Customer is liable to pay for the excess kms at a fixed fee per km as communicated while booking the trip.


Can someone else drive Zoomcar during my reservation? What is the process to add co-driver?

We understand that driving can get tiring on a long drive and you want to share driving responsibilities with a friend. Simply add co-drivers through the Co-Drivers page in your account. This will ensure that in case of any damage while your friend is driving, liability is limited to the security deposit (under our usual conditions). If your friend is not a Zoomcar user already, we will ask them to upload their DL and then review it. If your friend is already a Zoomcar user then their DL has most likely already been approved. Please do remember, you are still responsible for the vehicle during your reservation. Additionally if a non-Zoomcar verified person drives the vehicle, Zoomcar's insurance coverage would be invalidated and you will face unlimited liability.


How do I reach the location of the car?

Once the booking is confirmed, vehicle details with the location would be shared on the application. You can use our application to navigate to your car.


In case of Doorstep service who will deliver the car?What if the delivery guy comes late?

A Delivery executive will be allotted for your booking one hour before the booking start time, you will receive the details of the delivery executive at the same time. In the case of address clarification, our executive will call you for confirmation and he will be at your location by your bookings start time. You can contact the executive over the shared contact number.


When will I get my security deposit refunded back?

Once the booking gets completed, We will process the refund of your security deposit within 7 to 14 days. The payment owed will be deducted from the security deposit in the event the customer is found to violate Zoomcar T&C.


What are excess KMs charges?

Every booking comes with a KM package which is already included in the booking fee however exceeding the free KMs would result in extra fee as per the selected vehicle. You can keep a note of your free KMs and an extra fee per KM on your App. Charges would be according to the extra KMs driven: Total extra KMs x Charge per km.


What is the Refueling charge?

Customers should return the vehicle with a full tank at the end of the booking. If returned with lesser fuel than the fuel level at the start of the trip then Refuelling charges of 23,000 VND per litre plus an additional inconvenience fee of 100,000 VND will be applicable. (Refuelling charges = 23,000 VND x difference in fuel level + 100,000 VND).


What if I see there are exterior damages on the vehicle?

We try to inspect all our vehicle's condition periodically however if you notice any damage on the vehicle, Please do call out the same in the start checklist and also do capture the images for future reference.


What if i want to extend my booking?

You can always extend a booking through Zoomcar application. For Doorstep Bookings: Extension within 2 hours of Bookings End time will lead to cancellation of Doorstep Collection. No refunds applicable.


What if i return the car late?

Late return would attract heavy penalty. It will be around 2x of your booking price. This multiplier is subject to change.


How do I unlock my car?

You can unlock the car by filling pick up checklist. Unlocking and Locking is a part of checklist.


What is the fuel policy?

No Fuel bookings - the vehicle should be returned by the Member, upon the completion of the booking, with fuel at the same level as at the start of the booking. If the Vehicle is returned with lesser fuel than the fuel level at the start of the trip then Refuelling penalty will be applicable.


What would be the fuel level in the vehicle which gets allotted to me? What if the fuel level is low?

While we ensure a hassle free trip for you, there can be instances where fuel levels in few vehicles may be as low. Post completing the pick-up checklist procedure, please do check the fuel percentage in the vehicle and refuel the vehicle if the current fuel level is not enough for your trip. Please refuel the vehicle as per your trip requirement.


How long do refunds take?

All Refunds made shall be through the original payment account only. We will process the refund within 7 to 14 days.


What would be the fuel level in the vehicle which gets allotted to me? What if the fuel level is low?

Fuel levels in few vehicles may be as low as 5-10%. Post completing the pick-up checklist procedure. Please do check the fuel percentage in the vehicle and refuel the vehicle if the current fuel level is not enough for your trip. Please refuel the vehicle as per your trip requirement.


How am I reimbursed if I pump my own fuel?

Zoomcar is providing UNLIMITED KILOMETERS with NO FUEL Bookings, but the Guests are expected to drop the car at an equal or higher fuel level than the Booking Start time. Reimbursement for any excess fuel will be processed to the Guests. Refuelling Charges will be levied if the vehicle is dropped at a lower fuel level than the Booking Start time. If the booking type is With-fuel, Zoomcar pays for the fuel, regardless of whether the vehicle is a diesel or petrol variant. Zoomcar refuels the vehicles regularly. If you are driving a long distance and you need to refuel the vehicle, keep the original fuel receipt and submit it after your reservation and Zoomcar will happily reimburse you the amount based on estimation. We do not reimburse fuel refund on No fuel bookings, Please refuel the vehicles as per your need. While ending the trip vehicle fuel % should be as same as the start fuel % to avoid unnecessary charges. Start & End Checklist is mandatory.


How do I end my reservation?

What is traffic violation fee?

Please ensure you drive safely without breaking any traffic rules. In case of an uncertain event of a traffic violation, Please clear the penalty through the Govt portal to avoid un-necessary charges against your booking and inconvenience to other customers.


What is Driver Score?

Driver Score is a rating mechanism that reflects your driving behaviour for the trip. User's aggregate score is an average of the individual trips' driver score.

What do I do if I meet with an accident?

Immediately notify Zoomcar by calling <****> and we will guide you through the entire process. We will coordinate everything with the police, insurance, and road-side assistance. Do not leave the scene of the accident until proper support has arrived. You may be required to sign several formality documents associated with the accident.


What do I do if the vehicle breaks down?

Immediately notify Zoomcar by calling <****> and we will guide you through the entire process with the help of our Call Center and Fleet Executive team. Each vehicle also has a 24x7 road-side support hotline number. Zoomcar will coordinate everything with this road-side assistance provider. Do not leave the scene of the breakdown until proper support has arrived.


How will I receive my Refund?

Refund will be initiated to the account/card used to make the payment and will take 7 to 14 days to settle. If the payment was made from the wallet account, it would take 24 hrs for the refund to settle.
